  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • Cooking spray or additional butter for the skillet

Instructions

  1. Combine Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Mix Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together milk, egg, and melted butter.
  3. Combine Wet and Dry: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  4. Heat the Skillet: Heat a skillet over medium heat and grease it with cooking spray or butter.
  5. Cook the Pancakes: Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  6. Serve and Enjoy: Serve warm with syrup or toppings of choice.

Notes

For a healthier version, swap out half the flour for whole wheat flour or try almond milk instead of regular milk.
