A quick and easy Chinese Beef and Broccoli stir-fry that brings comfort and satisfaction to your weeknight dinners.

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice for serving

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Sauce Mixture: In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch until well combined.
  2. Heat the Oil: In a large pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Brown the Beef: Add the sliced beef to the pan in a single layer and allow it to sizzle and turn brown for about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Infuse with Garlic and Ginger: Add the minced garlic and ginger to the pan, cooking for one minute.
  5. Stir in the Broccoli: Add the broccoli florets and stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until tender.
  6. Combine the Sauce: Pour the sauce mixture over the beef and broccoli, stirring to coat.
  7. Serve Hot: Spoon the stir-fry over bowls of cooked rice and enjoy!

Notes
