Oven-Fried Feta Rolls with Chili Honey

Delightful cheese-filled rolls with a crispy phyllo pastry, drizzled with a sweet and spicy chili honey.

Ingredients

  • Feta cheese
  • Ricotta cheese
  • Phyllo pastry
  • Olive oil
  • Honey
  • Chili flakes
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Fresh herbs (optional, such as parsley or dill)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix together feta cheese, ricotta cheese, salt, pepper, and fresh herbs in a bowl.
  3. Take a sheet of phyllo pastry and brush it generously with olive oil.
  4. Place a spoonful of the cheese mixture at one end of the phyllo pastry sheet and roll it up tightly.
  5. Brush the tops of the rolls with more olive oil.
  6. Bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Warm up the honey and mix in chili flakes for the drizzle.
  8. Serve the rolls warm, drizzled with the spicy-sweet chili honey.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh from the oven. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
