A comforting chicken noodle casserole that brings warmth and joy to your kitchen with every bite.

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 3 cups egg noodles, cooked
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (peas and carrots)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the cooked chicken, cooked egg noodles, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, chicken broth, mixed vegetables, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  3. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top and add breadcrumbs if desired.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and golden on top.
  6. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Feel free to add other vegetables like broccoli or corn for extra nutrition. Rotisserie chicken can save time and enhance flavor.
