A comforting and flavorful Chicken Lasagna Bake with layers of cheesy goodness, perfect for family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  3. Mix together the cooked chicken, ricotta cheese, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  4. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  5. Layer 3 lasagna noodles over the sauce, followed by half of the chicken mixture, mozzarella cheese, and marinara sauce.
  6. Repeat the layers (noodles, chicken mixture, mozzarella, marinara) once more.
  7. Top with the remaining 3 noodles, heavy cream, remaining marinara sauce, and a final layer of mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  8. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  9. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  10. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley before serving.

Notes

Use rotisserie chicken for convenience; drain excess liquid from marinara to prevent a watery lasagna.
