A quick and delightful Chicken Chow Mein that captures the essence of Asian cuisine with perfectly cooked noodles, tender chicken, and colorful vegetables.

Ingredients

  • 200g chow mein noodles
  • 200g chicken breast, sliced
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (carrots, bell peppers, bean sprouts)
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • Green onions, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the Chow Mein Noodles according to package instructions and set aside.
  2. Heat sesame oil in a large pan or wok over medium heat.
  3. Add garlic and ginger, sautéing for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Cook sliced chicken until no longer pink.
  5. Add mixed vegetables and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes.
  6. Stir in soy sauce and oyster sauce.
  7. Add cooked noodles and toss everything together until well combined.
  8. Garnish with green onions before serving.

Notes

To prevent noodles from sticking together, rinse them under cold water after cooking. Feel free to swap in seasonal veggies or use frozen mixed vegetables for a quicker option.
