A quick and flavorful Chicken and Broccoli stir-fry perfect for busy weeknights, combining tender chicken, crunchy broccoli, and aromatic garlic.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice or noodles (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat, allowing it to shimmer.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper and add them to the skillet. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  3. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside to rest.
  4. Add the minced garlic and broccoli to the same skillet, stir-frying for about 4 minutes until the broccoli is tender-crisp.
  5. Slice the cooked chicken and return it to the skillet, infusing the dish with its juices.
  6. Pour in the soy sauce and toss everything together for an additional 2 minutes, ensuring the flavors meld beautifully.
  7. Serve the chicken and broccoli over a bed of warm cooked rice or tender noodles, allowing the sauce to soak in.

Notes

For added flavor, consider garnishing with sesame seeds or sliced green onions. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
