Deliciously irresistible bites that combine childhood nostalgia with a healthy keto twist.

Ingredients

  • 12 slices pepperoni
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place pepperoni slices on the prepared sheet, spacing them about 1/2 inch apart.
  3. Spoon approximately 1 teaspoon of softened cream cheese onto the center of each pepperoni slice.
  4. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the cream cheese on each pepperoni cup.
  5. Season each bite with Italian seasoning and a pinch of garlic powder.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 5 to 7 minutes, until the cheese is melted and edges are crisp.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before garnishing with chopped fresh parsley.

Notes

These bites can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
