A delightful combination of crunchy pretzels coated in rich toffee, perfect for gatherings or as a sweet pick-me-up.

Ingredients

  • 1 bag of pretzels
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt the butter and brown sugar in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly until boiling.
  3. Bring to a boil and let bubble for about 3-4 minutes without stirring.
  4. Prepare the pretzels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Pour the hot toffee mixture over the pretzels, ensuring they are well coated.
  6. Bake for 5-7 minutes until bubbly and lightly caramelized.
  7. Add optional toppings of chocolate chips and chopped nuts.
  8. Cool completely before breaking into pieces.

Notes
