A simple yet gourmet appetizer featuring crispy bread topped with creamy burrata, fresh tomatoes, and fragrant basil.

Ingredients

  • Baguette or Italian bread
  • Olive oil
  • Burrata cheese
  • Fresh tomatoes
  • Fresh basil
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the baguette into 1/2 inch thick pieces.
  3. Brush both sides of the bread slices with olive oil and place them on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly.
  6. Top each crostini with a generous piece of burrata cheese.
  7. Add sliced fresh tomatoes and basil leaves on top.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve immediately.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh, but leftovers can be stored separately. Use a good quality burrata for best results.
