A warm and vibrant bowl of Beef and Broccoli Lo Mein featuring tender beef sirloin and fresh broccoli tossed in savory sauces and lo mein noodles.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz lo mein noodles
  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook the lo mein noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and ginger to the skillet and stir-fry for about 30 seconds.
  4. Next, add the sliced beef to the skillet, cooking until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Once the beef is browned, add the broccoli florets and stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes.
  6. In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce and oyster sauce together and pour over the beef and broccoli, stirring to coat evenly.
  7. Gently combine the cooked lo mein noodles with the beef and broccoli mixture, tossing everything together.
  8. Finally, garnish your dish with chopped green onions and serve warm.

Notes

This dish pairs well with spring rolls or dumplings. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 2 months.
