A delightful fusion of moist banana bread and gooey cinnamon rolls, perfect for any occasion.

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for frosting)
  • 2 tablespoons milk (for frosting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Mash the bananas until smooth.
  3. Add sugar and softened butter to the mashed bananas and mix until smooth.
  4. Introduce the eggs and vanilla extract, beating until well combined.
  5. Whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon in another bowl.
  6. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  7. Roll out the dough into a rectangle shape on a floured surface.
  8. Spread the dough with butter, sprinkle with cinnamon and chopped walnuts.
  9. Starting from one edge, roll the dough tightly into a log.
  10. Cut the log into evenly-sized rolls, about 1 to 1.5 inches thick.
  11. Place the rolls into the greased baking dish, spacing them apart.
  12. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  13. Whisk together powdered sugar and milk for frosting.
  14. Allow the rolls to cool briefly before drizzling with frosting.

Store leftover rolls in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or freeze for up to a month.
