A quick and delicious stir fry featuring napa cabbage, ginger, and garlic, drizzled with soy and sesame flavors.

Ingredients

  • 1 head napa cabbage, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings: sesame seeds, green onions

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add minced ginger and garlic, sautéing for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Introduce the sliced napa cabbage into the pan and stir-fry for about 4-5 minutes.
  4. Pour in the soy sauce and sesame oil, tossing to coat the cabbage evenly.
  5. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the cabbage is tender but still slightly crisp.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve hot, topped with sesame seeds and green onions if desired.

Notes

Great as a side for grilled meats or a standalone vegetarian meal. Can be prepared ahead of time by chopping ingredients in advance.
