A delightful sandwich combining creamy goat cheese, crisp apple, and fresh arugula in a buttery croissant.

Ingredients

  • 1 buttery croissant
  • 1/4 cup creamy goat cheese
  • 1 crisp apple, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup fresh arugula or greens
  • Honey or balsamic glaze (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the croissant in half lengthwise.
  3. Spread the creamy goat cheese evenly on both halves of the croissant.
  4. Layer the thin apple slices and arugula on the bottom half of the croissant.
  5. Add drizzle of honey or balsamic glaze if desired, and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  6. Assemble the sandwich by placing the top half of the croissant back on.
  7. Warm the sandwich in the oven for about 5-7 minutes.
  8. Slice and serve immediately.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh, but components can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 1 day.
