A delightful cake with tender crumb and rich almond flavor, perfect for any celebration.

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • Sliced almonds for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan.
  2. Creaming together softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the vanilla and almond extracts.
  5. Combine almond flour, all-purpose flour, and salt in another bowl.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, blending until smooth.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared pan, smoothing the top.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  10. Whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
  11. Once the cake is cooled, frost with whipped cream and sprinkle sliced almonds on top.

Notes

For best results, use room temperature ingredients and ensure cake is completely cooled before frosting.
