Delicious and wholesome blueberry oatmeal cookies that blend chewy oats with juicy blueberries, making for a sweet treat.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the rolled oats, flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Cream the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix well.
  4. Mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Fold in the blueberries gently.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 12-15 minutes.
  7. Let the cookies cool on a wire rack.
