A vibrant twist on classic puppy chow that combines sweet and salty flavors with strawberry shortcake elements.

  • 6 cups Rice Chex cereal (Use gluten-free if needed)
  • 15 oz Golden Oreos (crushed)
  • 1 cup White chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp Coconut oil
  • 1 cup Freeze-dried strawberries
  • 1 cup Strawberry cake mix
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
  • Mini marshmallows (Optional)
  • Chopped dried strawberries (Optional)

Instructions

  1. Gather your ingredients on a clean countertop.
  2. Measure 6 cups of Rice Chex cereal into a large mixing bowl.
  3. Combine 1 cup of white chocolate chips with 2 tablespoons of coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl.
  4. Microwave in 30-second intervals until fully melted and smooth.
  5. Pour the melted chocolate over the Rice Chex cereal and fold gently to coat.
  6. Sprinkle in the crushed Golden Oreos and freeze-dried strawberries, mixing to combine.
  7. Dust with 1 cup of strawberry cake mix and 1 cup of powdered sugar, folding gently.
  8. Add mini marshmallows or chopped dried strawberries if desired.
  9. Spread the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and let cool for at least 30 minutes.
  10. Transfer to a serving bowl, breaking up any clumps, and dust with powdered sugar if desired.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two weeks. Use gluten-free Rice Chex for gluten-free option.
