Delightful dessert cups layered with creamy strawberry cream, fresh strawberries, and crumbled vanilla cake, perfect for summer gatherings.

  • 1 baked vanilla cake layer, crumbled
  • 1 tbsp sugar (optional)
  • 1 ½ cups heavy whipping cream
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup strawberry puree
  • Pink food coloring (optional)
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • Pink sanding sugar (optional)
  • Heart-shaped decorations (optional)

Instructions

  1. Beat the cream cheese in a bowl until smooth.
  2. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla to the cream cheese and mix until well combined.
  3. Whip the heavy cream in a separate bowl until it forms stiff peaks.
  4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Divide the mixture in half and stir the strawberry puree into one half.
  6. Crumble the baked vanilla cake layer into small pieces.
  7. Layer crumbled cake, strawberry cream, and fresh strawberries in dessert cups.
  8. Pipe a swirl of strawberry cream on top of each cup.
  9. Optionally sprinkle with pink sanding sugar or add heart-shaped decorations.
  10. Chill the dessert cups in the refrigerator before serving.

Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, and avoid freezing for best texture.
