A whimsical dessert combining cheesecake, strawberries, and Golden Oreos into delightful sushi rolls.

  • 2 cups crushed Golden Oreos
  • 4 tbsp melted butter
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup diced fresh strawberries
  • 1/2 cup strawberry preserves or jam
  • Extra crushed Golden Oreos for coating
  • To taste whipped cream and additional strawberries for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crust Base: In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Golden Oreos with melted butter. Stir until resembling wet sand.
  2. Form the Crust Layer: Press the Oreo mixture into the bottom of a parchment-lined baking dish.
  3. Create the Cheesecake Mixture: Beat together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Fold in the heavy whipping cream.
  4. Add the Strawberry Goodness: Fold in diced strawberries and strawberry preserves into the cheesecake mixture.
  5. Assemble the Rolls: Spread the cheesecake mixture over the Oreo crust and roll tightly into a log shape.
  6. Chill the Rolls: Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1-2 hours.
  7. Coat the Rolls: Roll the chilled log in extra crushed Golden Oreos.
  8. Slice and Serve: Slice into bite-sized pieces and serve with whipped cream and fresh strawberries if desired.

Notes

Ensure cream cheese is at room temperature for a smoother mixture. Can substitute other fruits for variations.
