  • 2/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup strawberries, pureed
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 12 tablespoons milk (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Mix in the vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add flour and salt, mixing until well combined.
  5. Fold in the strawberry puree until evenly distributed.
  6. Shape the dough into heart shapes and place on a lined baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
  8. Prepare the glaze by mixing powdered sugar with milk until smooth.
  9. Drizzle the glaze over cooled cookies and allow to set before serving.

Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week. Freeze for up to three months, thaw at room temperature before serving.
