A quick and delightful dessert that captures the warm flavor of snickerdoodle cookies in a single mug.

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon sugar (for rolling)
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon sugar (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt in a microwave-safe mug.
  2. Add the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
  3. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar over the top of the batter and gently fold it in.
  4. Microwave for about 1 minute or until the cake has risen and is cooked through.
  5. Let cool slightly before enjoying.

Notes

Mug cakes are best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat in the microwave for about 15-20 seconds before consuming.
