Delightful crescents filled with a sweet pecan mixture, capturing the comforting flavors of traditional pecan pie in a buttery pastry shell.

Ingredients

  • 1 package of crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg, beaten

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix together the chopped pecans, brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla extract, and beaten egg until well combined.
  3. Open your package of crescent roll dough, unroll it, and separate it into triangles.
  4. Take a spoonful of your pecan mixture and place it at the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Starting at the wide end, carefully roll each triangle up towards the point.
  6. Place your rolled crescents on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Let them cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream. Drizzle with caramel sauce or sprinkle with sea salt for extra flavor.
