Delightful pastries wrapped around a gooey, sweet pecan filling, reminiscent of traditional pecan pie. Perfect for brunch or dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • Powdered sugar (optional for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix together the chopped pecans, brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla extract, and egg until well combined.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  4. Place a spoonful of the pecan mixture at the wide end of each triangle and roll it up tightly.
  5. Place the rolled crescents on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar if desired before serving.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh but can be stored at room temperature for up to 2 days. Can freeze for up to a month; reheat in the oven.
