A warm and comforting dessert that combines sweet caramel and crunchy pecans in a rich custard, perfect for any gathering.

  • 6 cups of cubed buttery bread
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups of heavy cream
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 cup of chopped pecans
  • 1 cup of caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, milk, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Add cubed bread and chopped pecans, stirring gently to coat.
  4. Pour the mixture into the baking dish, spreading evenly.
  5. Drizzle caramel sauce over the pudding, swirling it gently.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden and set.
  7. Cool slightly before serving warm with extra caramel sauce.
