A comforting dish of crispy hash browns layered with sour cream, cheese, and bacon—perfect for any meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen shredded hash browns
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 4 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: jalapeños or other toppings

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss together the frozen shredded hash browns with salt and pepper.
  3. Press the hash brown mixture firmly into the bottom of a greased baking dish.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Remove from the oven and layer with sour cream, shredded cheese, crumbled bacon, and chopped green onions.
  6. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Top with extra green onions or jalapeños if desired.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For a crispy crust, use a good-quality non-stick spray. Feel free to experiment with different cheese types or add sautéed vegetables.
