1 box of cake mix
1/2 cup of unsalted butter, melted
1 large egg
8 oz cream cheese, softened
2 large eggs
4 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, melted butter, and 1 egg. Mix until well combined into a thick dough and press it into the bottom of the prepared baking pan.
In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add in the 2 large eggs, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat until well combined and fluffy.
Carefully pour the creamy mixture over the base layer and spread it evenly.
Place the pan in the oven and bake for 30-40 minutes until golden and set at the top but slightly wobbly in the center.
Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan before cutting them into bars.
