Warm, fluffy cinnamon rolls infused with Biscoff cookie butter and a rich cinnamon filling, perfect for comfort food lovers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup Biscoff cookie butter
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for icing)
  • 2 tablespoons milk (for icing)

Instructions

  1. Combine the dry ingredients: In a medium bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour, sugar, yeast, and salt until well combined.
  2. Add the wet ingredients: Pour in the warm milk, melted butter, and the egg. Mix until a luscious dough begins to form.
  3. Knead the dough: Transfer the mixture onto a floured surface and knead it until smooth and elastic, roughly 5-7 minutes.
  4. Let the dough rise: Place your kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm area for about 1 hour or until it doubles in size.
  5. Roll out the dough: Once risen, punch down the dough and roll it out into a rectangle on a floured surface, about 1/4 inch thick.
  6. Spread the Biscoff cookie butter generously across the rectangle of dough.
  7. Sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar: In a small bowl, mix cinnamon and brown sugar together, then sprinkle it liberally over the cookie butter.
  8. Roll it up: Starting from one long side, roll the dough tightly into a log and pinch the seam to seal it.
  9. Cut into rolls: With a sharp knife, cut the rolled dough into 12 even slices.
  10. Second rise: Place the rolls in a greased baking pan, cover with a cloth, and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
  11. Bake: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the risen rolls for about 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and puffy.
  12. Prepare icing: In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar and milk until smooth.
  13. Add the icing: Once the rolls are out of the oven, drizzle the icing generously over the warm rolls.

Notes

For best results, use warm milk (not hot) to activate the yeast. You can substitute the Biscoff cookie butter with Nutella or almond butter if desired.
