A rich and moist banana bread infused with chocolate, perfect for chocolate lovers and a delightful way to use overripe bananas.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork. Stir in the melted butter.
  3. Mix in the baking soda and salt.
  4. Add sugar, egg, and vanilla extract; mix until well combined.
  5. Stir in the flour and cocoa powder until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  8. Bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Let cool before slicing and serving.

Notes

Ensure bananas are very ripe for the best sweetness. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
