Juicy burgers topped with sweet and spicy hot honey for a flavorful twist on a classic.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 burger buns
  • 4 slices cheese (optional)
  • 1/4 cup hot honey
  • Lettuce, for topping
  • Tomato slices, for topping
  • Pickles, for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
  2. Divide ground beef into four equal portions and form loosely into balls.
  3. Smash each ball into a patty on the skillet and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  4. Cook the patties for 3-4 minutes until browned, then flip to cook the other side.
  5. If using cheese, place a slice on each patty for the last minute of cooking.
  6. Toast the burger buns while the patties are cooking.
  7. Assemble each burger with a patty, drizzled hot honey, and desired toppings.
