A simple and delicious high-protein dish featuring shrimp coated in a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Cooked rice or vegetables for serving

Instructions

  1. Start by ensuring your shrimp are peeled and deveined. Rinse them under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil shimmers, add the shrimp in a single layer. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.
  4. Pour the prepared sauce over the cooked shrimp in the skillet. Toss gently to coat the shrimp and let it simmer for another minute.
  5. Remove from heat and serve hot over your choice of cooked rice, quinoa, or sautéed vegetables.
