High-Protein Chocolate Banana Bread

A delicious blend of ripe bananas and rich cocoa, perfect for breakfast or as a snack.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 scoop protein powder
  • 1 cup almond flour or gluten-free flour
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  3. Add cocoa powder, protein powder, almond flour, baking soda, and salt to the mashed bananas.
  4. Mix everything together until well combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread it evenly.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Let it cool in the pan for a few minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
