  • 8 oz macaroni pasta
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1/2 cup honey BBQ sauce
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the macaroni pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the flour and stir to create a roux, cooking for about 1 minute.
  3. Gradually whisk in the milk, cooking until the mixture thickens. Stir in the cheese until melted and smooth.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the cooked macaroni, shredded chicken, honey BBQ sauce, and cheese sauce. Mix well.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish if desired, or serve immediately. Garnish with green onions if using. Enjoy!
