Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • Sliced cheese (e.g., cheddar and mozzarella)
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • Tomato soup (for dipping, store-bought or homemade)

Instructions

  1. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium heat.
  2. Using a heart-shaped cookie cutter, cut the bread into heart shapes.
  3. Spread butter on one side of each heart-shaped slice.
  4. Place cheese slices between two slices of bread, buttered sides facing out.
  5. Grill each sandwich for about 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  6. Cut the grilled sandwiches into strips for easy dipping.
