A comforting and hearty Ground Beef Rice Casserole that brings together savory beef, creamy mushroom sauce, and gooey cheese, all enveloped in fluffy rice.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs Ground beef
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 can Cream of mushroom soup, condensed
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cups White rice, cooked
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1.5 cups Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup Milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  3. Drain any excess fat, then season the meat with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add the cream of mushroom soup and Worcestershire sauce to the skillet, stirring until well combined.
  5. Mix the cooked rice with the milk in a large bowl until there are no clumps.
  6. Spread half of the rice mixture in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, layer the beef mixture on top, then add the remaining rice.
  7. Sprinkle the cheddar cheese generously over the top.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  9. Let the casserole rest for 5 minutes before serving.
