Ingredients
Scale
1 pound ground turkey
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup chopped parsley
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 egg
1 cup Greek yogurt
1 cucumber, grated
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 clove garlic, minced
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Mix the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, oregano, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and egg in a large mixing bowl.
Shape the mixture into meatballs, about the size of a golf ball, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until fully cooked and golden brown.
Prepare the tzatziki by mixing Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Let sit in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
Serve the meatballs hot with the tzatziki sauce.
Notes
Opt for fresh herbs for better flavor. Ensure grated cucumber is squeezed to avoid watery tzatziki.
