Irresistibly fluffy pancakes that promise comfort and delight in every bite.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, mix the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined; some lumps are okay.
  4. Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease it.
  5. Pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto the skillet.
  6. Cook until bubbles appear on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown.
  7. Serve warm with syrup or your favorite toppings.

Notes

Don’t overmix the batter for fluffy pancakes and preheat your skillet properly.
