A delicious homemade pizza featuring extra creamy mozzarella, fresh basil, and a crispy crust.

Ingredients

  • Pizza dough
  • Tomato sauce
  • Fresh mozzarella cheese
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to your desired thickness.
  3. Carefully transfer the rolled dough to a pizza stone or baking sheet.
  4. Spread a thin layer of tomato sauce over the surface of the dough.
  5. Tear fresh mozzarella cheese into bite-sized pieces and evenly distribute it over the sauce.
  6. Season with a sprinkle of salt and a dash of pepper.
  7. Drizzle a little olive oil over the pizza.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  9. Remove the pizza from the oven and top with fresh basil leaves before serving.

Notes

For even creamier pizza, consider adding ricotta along with mozzarella. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
