Easy Fresh Strawberry Mousse

A light and fluffy mousse bursting with fresh strawberry flavors, perfect for warm evenings and special gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin
  • 3 tablespoons cold water

Instructions

  1. In a blender or food processor, puree the strawberries with granulated sugar and lemon juice until smooth.
  2. In a small bowl, sprinkle the gelatin over cold water and let it sit for 5 minutes to bloom.
  3. Heat the bloomed gelatin in the microwave for about 10 seconds until dissolved. Mix into the strawberry puree.
  4. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  5. Gently fold the whipped cream into the strawberry mixture until fully combined.
  6. Spoon the mousse into serving dishes and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

Serve with additional sliced strawberries or whipped cream. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
