These cruffins are a delightful hybrid of croissants and muffins with flaky layers and a sweet cinnamon sugar crust.

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1/2 cup cinnamon sugar (for sprinkling)
  • Dough (like croissant dough) or puff pastry

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the dough into a rectangle and brush it generously with melted butter.
  3. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar evenly over the dough.
  4. Roll the dough tightly into a log and slice it into about 1-inch thick pieces.
  5. Place the slices upright in a greased muffin tin.
