A delightful layered club sandwich featuring crispy bacon, tender turkey, fresh vegetables, and creamy mayonnaise, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 3 slices of bread (white or whole wheat)
  • 4 slices of bacon
  • 1/2 cup cooked turkey or chicken, sliced
  • 2 slices of cheese (cheddar or Swiss)
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Mayonnaise
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Butter for toasting

Instructions

  1. Sizzle the bacon in a skillet until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  2. Toast the bread slices in the same skillet with a little butter until golden brown.
  3. Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of toast.
  4. Layer on the lettuce, tomato, turkey, and cheese on the first slice of bread.
  5. Stack the second slice of bread on top and repeat with bacon, lettuce, and mayonnaise.
  6. Add the third slice of bread on top to seal the sandwich.
  7. Secure with toothpicks and cut into quarters. Serve immediately.

Notes

For ultra-crispy bacon, bake it in the oven at 400°F for about 15-20 minutes. Feel free to customize with different meats or vegetables.
