  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Coating: In a large bowl, mix the flour, salt, and pepper. Dredge the chicken in the flour mixture until fully coated.
  2. Heat the Oil & Fry the Chicken: Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry the chicken until golden brown, about 6-7 minutes per side.
  3. Mix the Honey Garlic Sauce: In a small bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic.
  4. Add the Sauce to the Chicken: Pour the honey garlic sauce over the chicken in the skillet.
  5. Thicken the Sauce: Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Serve & Garnish: Serve hot, garnished with green onions if desired.

Notes

Ensure your oil is hot enough before adding the chicken for a crispy exterior. Adjust the honey and soy sauce to taste.
