Deliciously crispy crab rangoon bombs filled with creamy cheese and fresh crab meat.

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup crab meat, cooked and shredded
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 package wonton wrappers
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine the filling: In a bowl, combine the cream cheese, crab meat, green onions, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Prepare the wonton wrappers: Place a small spoonful of the mixture onto the center of each wonton wrapper.
  3. Seal the bombs: Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, fold it over, and pinch to seal.
  4. Heat the oil: Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot over medium heat.
  5. Fry the wontons: Fry the wontons in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes.
  6. Drain excess oil: Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels.
  7. Serve immediately: Serve hot as an appetizer with sweet and sour sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

Keep oil at the correct temperature for best results. Can be baked for a lighter version. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days.
