A delightful dish capturing the essence of summer with tender chicken in a luxurious, creamy tomato sauce and fresh basil.

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 can diced tomatoes (14 oz)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic for about 30 seconds.
  3. Add the seasoned chicken breasts and cook for about 5-7 minutes per side until golden brown.
  4. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  5. Pour in the diced tomatoes and bring to a gentle simmer.
  6. Stir in the heavy cream and simmer for about 5 minutes until thickened.
  7. Return the chicken to the skillet and cook for another 5 minutes.
  8. Stir in the fresh chopped basil before serving.

Notes
