A delightful dish of pasta shells filled with creamy ricotta and ground beef, enveloped in marinara sauce and topped with melted mozzarella.

Ingredients

  • Large pasta shells
  • Ricotta cheese
  • Ground beef
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 Egg
  • Garlic
  • Italian seasoning
  • Marinara sauce
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Sauté the ground beef with minced garlic until browned.
  3. Mix the ricotta cheese, egg, shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  4. Stuff each cooked pasta shell generously with the ricotta mixture.
  5. Pour marinara sauce over the stuffed shells.
  6. Add additional mozzarella cheese over the top.
  7. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for another 10 minutes until bubbly and golden.

Notes

For a twist, add spinach or mushrooms to the filling, or use ground turkey as a substitute for beef.
