A quick and comforting creamy pasta dish made with fresh tomatoes, aromatic garlic, and heavy cream.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 200g pasta (e.g., spaghetti or penne)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 fresh tomatoes, diced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish
  • Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Toss in the diced tomatoes and cook, stirring occasionally, for about 5 minutes.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream and season with salt and pepper. Let it simmer until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Combine the cooked pasta with the sauce and toss to coat evenly.

Notes

For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream. Fresh basil is essential for flavor.
