A tropical twist on the classic Rice Krispy Treats, featuring gooey marshmallows and toasted coconut for added flavor.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 cup marshmallows
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large saucepan over low heat.
  2. Add the marshmallows to the melted butter and stir until completely melted.
  3. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Add the Rice Krispies cereal and shredded coconut to the melted marshmallow mixture, mixing well to combine.
  5. Press the mixture into a greased 9×9-inch pan.
  6. Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.

Notes

For deeper coconut flavor, toast the shredded coconut before mixing it in. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
