Delightful chocolate pizzelles sandwiched with a rich, creamy cannoli filling, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz Philadelphia Cream Cheese, softened
  • 16 chocolate pizzelles
  • 4 oz heavy whipping cream
  • 1 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened Philadelphia Cream Cheese until smooth. Add in the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon. Mix on low speed until combined and creamy.
  2. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  3. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until well combined.
  4. Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips.
  5. Cover the filling and refrigerate for 1-2 hours.
  6. Use a piping bag to transfer a generous amount of filling onto the flat side of half of the pizzelles. Place another pizzelle on top to create a sandwich.
  7. Dust your homemade pizzelle sandwiches with powdered sugar or sprinkle more chocolate chips on top.
  8. Serve the pizzelle sandwiches within 1-2 hours.

Notes

For best texture, fill the pizzelles just before serving. Any leftover filling can be stored separately in the fridge for up to 3 days.
