Delightful cookies combining strawberries and chocolate for a nostalgic treat.

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup strawberries, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix into the butter blend.
  5. Gently fold in chocolate chips and chopped strawberries.
  6. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden and cookies are set but still soft in the center.
  8. Cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Store leftover cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days. For longer storage, freeze them for up to 3 months.
