A delightful blend of sweet and spicy, this Chicken Diablo features tender chicken breasts cooked in a sticky honey and Sriracha sauce, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce (such as Sriracha)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix together the honey, soy sauce, hot sauce, minced garlic, ground ginger, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then sear them on both sides until golden brown.
  4. Place the seared chicken in a baking dish and pour the honey mixture over the top.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until cooked through and tender.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

Serve over rice or quinoa, with a side of vegetables or salad. For leftovers, store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
