Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Brown the butter in a saucepan over medium heat until golden and nutty, then let cool slightly.
  3. Mix the browned butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until well combined.
  4. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  5. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl, then gradually combine with the wet ingredients.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a lined baking sheet, leaving space between cookies.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are golden but the centers are soft.
  9. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
